With Almased, I found I could still eat evening meals with my family and have pretty much the same as them. And the weight still seemed to come off, even though I was eating sort of normally, not just having restrictive salads.
After the first 30 days, I had a break and then restarted for another month. It’s definitely transformed how I eat as I snack less than I used to, and when I do, it’s almonds now rather than biscuits! On the odd occasion I go out for dinner, I eat normally rather than take a shake with me. It hasn’t impacted my weight loss by just eating normally for a day or two, which is great.
I mixed my shake in a blender so I could add ice. And I sometimes added raspberries and blueberries too from our allotment.
I’ve tried other meal replacements in the past but felt hungry and gave up after a few weeks, whereas Almased has been easy to stick to. I’ll definitely carry on as I want to get down to 9st. I also like the Facebook support group as that had some useful tips in it for adding flavour to your shake. Overall, I’d definitely recommend Almased as it’s worked well for me.
