Shake Recipe: Almased Iced Strawberry Matcha

The trend drink of the summer is now also available in an Almased version - as a protein-rich matcha shake with strawberries, and easily homemade. Our Iced Strawberry Matcha Shake recipe combines the best of two worlds: sweet strawberries and off-dry matcha, refined with Almased Original for extra protein, all essential amino acids and long-lasting satiety. In addition, there is an extra portion of vitamin C and natural antioxidants from the fresh strawberries. Less sugar, more nutrients – ideal for those who want to enjoy healthily and consciously.

1 serving approx.: 282 kcal – 27 g protein – 10 g fat – 18 g carbohydrates

Ingredients (1 person)

  • 50g Almased Original
  • 3 small strawberries
  • Ice cubes
  • 200 ml unsweetened coconut drink
  • 2 tsp rapeseed oil
  • 1 level tsp matcha
  • 150 ml water

Preparation (10 minutes)

  1. Puree the strawberries, then add to the jar/glass as the first layer.
  2. Add ice cubes.
  3. Mix the coconut drink separately with Almased and rapeseed oil in a shaker and then add it.
  4. Prepare the matcha with water at a temperature of approx. 60-70 degrees with a whisk or in a milk frother, let it cool, then top the glass with the matcha.
  5. Stir well and enjoy.

 


Tip: A teaspoon of fleaseed, chia or ground flaxseed in a shake provides you with valuable fibre, which naturally supports digestion.
